Akarie stood at the shore of the pulsing river. Her purple eyes looked at the water. She couldn't believe she lived in that but it did cost her... The only thing she could remember was her name and that was it.

Inuko sat against a tree on the other side of the river. She had her head leaned forward and her brown hair went in her face and concealed her eyes. The girl felt someone on the other side but didn't bother looking up. "I'm well away from the river and the person I feel. Nothing to worry about." Inuko said to herself and continued looking to the floor in front of her crossed legs. Slowly she closed her eyes.

Ryu,At the edge of the river and sitting in a high tree branch,Looked at the girl who was totally soaked and seemed so confused.
"Who's she?"He mummered to himself as he looked over the girl.

Inuko opened her eyes and felt a strange feeling in the pit of her gut. "Why do I want to leave? Is something bad going to happen?" She said and closed her eyes again. "No, I'll stay here." Said Inuko quite a bit loudly and she heard the word "no" echo just a bit.

Akarie sighed and sat. She started rubbing her wings, healing and mending split feathers. She didn't care that anyone was around her. Maybe if they where her enemies they would jog her memory.

Ryu watched the girl start to heal her mangled wings.
"Hm..."His wolf curiousity began to get the better of him and he quietly jumped down off the tree behind her.He quickly went to his wolf form and slowly approached her,His ears flat down against his head.

Inuko layed her head back against the tree and sighed. "I really should leave. I shouldn't be out in the open like this." She told herself and closed her eyes for a second trying to get some rest before heading out to a building somewhere for sleep.

Akaire doesn't turn but just kept mending her feathers. "Hello..." She said kindly not even turning to him, "Do I know you?" She felt stupid on asking but she had to know. The raven demon's wings ruffle then she shifted to the otherside doing the same she did to the first. She didn't pluck out the totally destroyed feathers even though she knew she should be. "If I do... sorry that I don't remember."

Inuko lifted her head tiredly and looked around hearing a voice. "My imagination..no, that sounded real. Oh well just forget it." She said and stood up. She began walking torwards the right side of her heading upstream of the river. After a few minutes of walking she saw a raven demon com into view behind the bend of the river. "Hmmm...Something happened, I should ask if they need my assistance to be polite but, can I trust them or not?" Said Inuko as she examined the demon while continuing her walk getting more around the turn as she went on.

Ryu looked over the demon and decided she wasn't to much of a threat.He quickly went to his human form and stood a few feet behind her.
"No,You don't know me"He mummered,Twitching his ears at the sounds around him,Including Inuko's voice.

A sudden rustling began in the bushes next to Inuko. She looked over and unsheathed her dagger. "Get out demon..SHOW YOURSELF!" She called out and took another step back inching closer and closer to the river. The rustling didn't stop and a large paw appeared to the side of it. Inuko felt her pulse in her throat and started getting nervous. Slowly, silently she waited for the demon to come out from it's hiding place. In a sudden moment a large dog had it's long narrow maw around her wrist and blood dripped onto the metal handle of the dagger.
Inuko clenched her teeth and moaned in pain very loudly. "Get off of...ME!" She yelled and was forced to drop the dagger. With the dagger on the floor well away from Inuko's reach for now the dog grabbed it and backed away from her with her father's knife in it's mouth. "I'll tear you to shreds, give it back!" Inuko cried out and lowered her head still staring at the dog demon in front of her. "Don't look down at me filthy half breed..." A voice said and the dogs eyes narrowed.
